Jeff Webster

Jefferson Webster grew up in North Carolina and graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in physics. While in college, he came to faith Christ and got involved with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, which was a profoundly formative experience for him. During his time in Intervarsity, his interest shifted away from science and towards theology, and he enrolled at Dallas Theological Seminary because of its fidelity to the authority of Scripture and strong emphasis on expository preaching. Upon graduating from DTS, he took a position in the library, which required that he get another degree in Library Science. Since 1996, he has worked in the academic theology world, for many years with DTS as collection development librarian, and more recently as online librarian and registrar for Veritas College International, a competency-based ministry training school located in Perth, Australia. In January 2024, he returned to DTS full-time as Public Services Librarian. He co-teaches an expository Bible class at Park Cities Presbyterian Church and enjoys reading and attending the Dallas Symphony as often as possible.
